Product Quality & Manufacturing Standards

Q1What is the difference between Belparts aftermarket parts and genuine OEM parts?
Belparts brand (premium aftermarket): Manufactured in-house to OEM dimensional specifiions using the same material grades and machining standards. Core components use 42CrMo alloy steel hardened to HRC 58-62, processed on German CNC lines to ±0.01mm accuracy. Every unit passes individual bench testing. Cost is significantly lower than genuine parts while meeting equivalent performance requirements for most appliions.

Genuine OEM parts: Sourced through our authorized supply channels directly from original Japanese and European brands — Kawasaki, Nachi, KYB, Toshiba, Nabtesco, Rexroth (Bosch) — and original machine brands including Hitachi, Komatsu, and erpillar. These are the original factory components, recommended for fleets under manufacturer warranty, safety-critical appliions, or where original parts are contractually required.
Specify your required quality level in your inquiry and we will recommend the appropriate sourcing option with a corresponding price comparison.
Q2How is quality controlled before parts are shipped?
Every Belparts unit undergoes individual bench testing covering four parameters before shipment:
  • Pressure test — confirms rated operating pressure is achieved
  • Leakage test — verifies all sealing faces and internal clearances
  • Load test — confirms torque output meets specifiion
  • Efficiency test — validates volumetric and mechanical efficiency
Components are assembled in an automated dust-free workshop to prevent contamination, which is a primary cause of premature hydraulic failure. All production is manufactured, tested, and traced under one integrated quality system.
Q3Why does machining precision matter for hydraulic parts — and what is your tolerance?
In hydraulic systems, internal clearances between moving parts are measured in microns. Even minor dimensional deviation causes internal leakage, which reduces system pressure, increases heat generation, accelerates wear, and shortens service life. Correct precision ensures the motor or pump reaches its rated efficiency and operates reliably under the full working pressure of the excavator hydraulic circuit.

Belparts uses German CNC production lines for motor housings and Japanese equipment for pump housings, achieving machining tolerances of ±0.01mm for applicable critical dimensions. This is consistent with the tolerance range required by original equipment specifiions.
Q4Can I request a sample before placing a bulk order?
Yes. Sample orders are accepted for most stock items. Samples allow you to verify dimensional fitment, packaging quality, and documentation before committing to a larger volume. Sample lead times, pricing, and freight arrangements can be confirmed during the quotation stage. We recommend testing the sample under actual working conditions on the machine before placing a production order.
How do I determine the suitability and compatibility of accessories?
Q1How do I confirm the correct part number for my excavator?
The most reliable approach is to provide as many of the following as available:
  • OE part number from the nameplate or parts manual (most accurate)
  • Excavator brand, model, and serial number (e.g., Hitachi ZX330-5, serial XXXXXXX)
  • Photos of the old part — nameplate, hydraulic port layout, mounting face, shaft or spline, and any visible markings
  • Machine working hours and failure description (helps narrow down root cause)
Our technical team cross-references your details against our 1,900+ SKU database covering Hydraulic Pumps (460+ models), Final Drives (1,040+ models), Swing Motor Assemblies (190+ models), and more. We respond with a confirmed part match within one business hour.
If the nameplate is damaged, provide shaft diameter, spline count, port size and configuration, and overall dimensions. Our engineers can identify the correct part from dimensional data.
Q2Can the same excavator model have more than one compatible part number?
Yes — this is one of the most common sources of incorrect orders. The correct part can vary depending on:
  • Production year and serial number range
  • Hydraulic system configuration or revision
  • Regional specifiion differences
  • Factory-installed optional equipment
Always provide the OE part number or machine serial number rather than relying on machine model alone. If you are unsure, share both the model and serial number and let our team verify before the order is placed.
Q3Which excavator brands does Belparts cover?
Our product range covers all major global excavator brands including:
  • Japanese brands: Komatsu, Hitachi, Kobelco, Sumitomo, Kubota, Yanmar, IHI, Kato
  • North American brands: erpillar, John Deere, Case, Bob
  • European brands: Volvo, Doosan, JCB
